Maggie Kelly is a writer, content strategist, and senior strategic designer at Snowmelt. With her early career spent as a journalist, Maggie is committed to the use of narrative and storytelling as tools to explore complexity in businesses, brands, and organisations.
Maggie is passionate about employing creative thinking to unlock potential pathways to a sustainable, socially-responsible, and prosperous future(s). She’s fascinated by the intersection of creativity and strategy, specifically the act of placing process and form around nebulous creative output. Maggie believes that creative and critical thinking must always walk hand in hand. As a writer, she sees great potential in language and creative storytelling to unwind systemic thinking and encourage new and wonderful pathways.
Maggie has over a decade of experience in both agency and client-side content strategy work, transforming internal and external communications experiences for brands such as Medibank, NAB, and Monash University. As a freelance contributor she has written regularly for The Age, SBS, The Guardian, and the ABC. In 2023, Maggie won Australian Parenting Podcast Of The Year for her eight-part investigative series, Parentkind.
